Pretty much every Saturday morning my husband and I head to Tomball, Texas to their local farmer’s market. We spend the morning poking around all of the brightly colored tents looking for yummy treats and delicious produce to make healthy meals the following week!
I have several favorite vendors that we go to every week. We find that it is best to preorder our fresh produce when the vendors have that option. It is so disappointing to go to the market and your favorite lettuce is sold out!
Lev and Churro are getting on up there in years and can’t digest regular dog food very well anymore. But I was lucky enough to find Doggy Moma at the Tomball Farmer’s Market! She hand cooks dog food for all types of dogs. My pups love her chicken and rice! They will gobble it down and have never had an upset stomach. We keep it frozen and thaw it one container at a time. That way it stays fresh for weeks! My puppies give Doggy Moma two thumbs way up!!!
Indulge Gourmet Desserts has the most wonderful macaroons around. This is definitely a vendor I preorder from. My whole family is in love with these sweet crunchy treats!
Avilas Flavors and Experiences is an all time favorite! Their empanadas are so yummy and their seafood Paella is delicious! I love that they cook it right there at the market. You have to stand in line to get on the list for this yumminess!
If you’re not doing anything this Saturday morning, I highly suggest you go to your local farmer’s market. It you’re in the Houston area, please check out the Tomball Farmer’s Market. It’s so much fun! I’m getting hungry just thinking about it!
