The word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light into my path. Psalm 119:105

How is it already time for Thanksgiving?! This year has flown by! Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays because you get together with friends and family…and best of all, you get to decorate your table!!!
These pictures are from our church’s springtime celebration, Table Grace. All of the ladies of the church are invited to decorate a table for their friends, then we have lunch, lovely music and a fun speaker. I am always amazed by the beautiful tables that make their way into the church gym! Who ever thought that a basketball game could be played the day before this beautiful luncheon?!
I hope you get some inspiration from everyone’s hard work. It is one of my favorite church programs. I love setting a beautiful table!

This is our table for 2025! We chose a nautical, Nantucket theme, complete with a solar powered lighthouse! The plates are from Anthropologie. They have paintings of octopus on them. The napkins are a nautical map so that the ladies can plan their next excursion. There were Arthur Court napkin rings and candy dishes, all depicting some of my favorite sea creatures. Each guest took home an adorable mini boat and tote filled with a bookmark, a light house cookie, and lots of peppermints.

Once again, my daughter painted all of our table guests a special piece to commemorate the day!

I wanted to include some of my favorite tables to motivate you and me to come up with some fabulous tablescapes this holiday season! I love that everyone included a little prize for their guests to take home to remember this fabulous fellowship by!

These are some of my favorite elegant tables. I love the understated elegance that these lovely ladies came up with. The Asian elegance, the beauty of blue and white, and my absolute favorite, the peaceful table with sweet birds. Look closely at the last picture . This beautiful table had a very large glass bird as its centerpiece. I was so beautifully peaceful to look at. I truly love that each table includes God’s love in its theme.

These are some of my favorite whimsical tables. I think that the ladies that sat at these tables were having a ton of fun! Can you imagine sitting with these beautiful flamingos, they are so much fun! Planning a trip around the world at the travel table, chatting about your latest quilting project, or even laughing with the very colorful fellow and his sombrero ??? I would love to sit and chat with all of these ladies!

This may be my favorite table this year. It is perfectly planned. The Bible verse is absolutely perfect for the season and for the table’s theme. The plates, the cookies, the fisherman Nutcracker set you up for a very nautical luncheon. I love the little touches of lures and corks. The napkin rings are made from one of my favorite shells. The pagoda behind the Nutcracker adds the perfect dimension for a perfectly balanced table. And Jesus said to them “ Follow me, and i will make you fishers of men. “ Matthew 4:19
I hope this gives you some ideas as you set your table this holiday season. I absolutely love having lunch at these beautiful tables with the lovely ladies from my church. I hope you can find a group of friends to decorate your table with. I love setting a beautiful table for my family and friends, and I love sharing time with them.
Have a fabulous Thanksgiving and a Very Merry Christmas!!! May God bless you all!
